THE CHEF

Cenk Debensason is the co-founder and chef at Arkestra. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management from the Institute Paul Bocuse in Lyon, France before touring the world to nurture his skills learning from some of the best kitchens. Travelling from Lyon to Paris, San Francisco to Los Angeles, the latter is where he initiated a pop-up dinner series called “The Cartoonist”, he then moved back to his hometown Istanbul in 2016. Working freelance as a food and beverage consultant for five years, in summer 2021, he launched Ritmo Zeytino, another pop-up dinner series in Bodrum, alongside his partner Debora Ipekel. In 2022, Debensason brought his entrepreneurial spirit and talent as a chef to Arkestra.
